Cringle

Terms of Service

Cringle is a private home intelligence system for owner-controlled security event review, anomaly scoring, and alerts. These terms describe basic use of Cringle informational and alerting services.

Use of service

Cringle is intended to assist with awareness and review of security-related activity. It is not a guarantee of safety, emergency response, or crime prevention. Users remain responsible for their own property, emergency decisions, and compliance with applicable laws.

No emergency service

Cringle is not a 911 service, police service, fire service, medical service, or professional monitoring station. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

SMS alerts

If SMS alerts are enabled, Cringle may send security alert messages to enrolled mobile numbers. Message frequency varies based on configuration and activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help where supported by the carrier messaging service.

Private deployments

Operational Cringle dashboards should be kept private and protected by appropriate authentication and network controls. Users should not publish camera credentials, private dashboard URLs, or security system secrets.

Acceptable use

Users may not use Cringle to violate privacy laws, monitor areas where they do not have authorization, harass individuals, or interfere with emergency services or security systems.
