Cringle is a private home intelligence system intended to help homeowners review security events, score unusual activity, and receive owner-configured alerts.
Information we process
Depending on configuration, Cringle may process:
- Account and authentication information used to protect owner access.
- Camera, zone, rule, and event metadata.
- Security-event summaries, anomaly scores, timestamps, and alert reasons.
- Mobile phone numbers voluntarily provided for SMS alerts.
SMS alerts
Users opt in to SMS alerts by enabling alerts in Cringle and providing a mobile number for security notifications. Cringle SMS messages are intended for critical or high-priority owner alerts. Message frequency varies based on system configuration and activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help where supported by the carrier messaging service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide private security event review, owner authentication, system status, anomaly scoring, and alert delivery. Cringle does not sell personal information or mobile numbers.
Sharing
Cringle may use service providers, such as SMS delivery providers, only as needed to operate alerts and related services. Mobile information is not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Security
Cringle is designed for private, owner-controlled deployments. Operational dashboards should be protected by private networking and strong authentication. Camera or security credentials should not be published on public websites.
